Bukit Jambul




Bukit Jambul object known as a tourist destination due to the harmonious combination between the amazing hills, rice fields, valleys and the beautiful sea panorama. From the height of the hill we can see the natural beauty underneath. Bukit Jambul name was first given during the Dutch invasion in Indonesia by a tourist who saw a high hill standing on the south side of the main road connecting Klungkung regency and Besakih. At the top of the hill there is an Pucak temple called Pura Sari surrounded by large trees. Meanwhile, under the temple complex there are captivating panorama of rice fields. It makes the trees look like crested.

Tourist area of ​​Bukit Jambul is a natural tourist destination owned by Regency of Karangasem, which is located at the top of the hill so that the surrounding air is cool and comfortable. As with other natural scenery in Karangasem district, tourist attraction of Bukit Jambul was also present in the fusion of natural landscape in panorama hills, rice fields, valleys, and panoramic sea views. From the heights in Bukit Jambul, tourists can witness the beauty of the natural scenery is very charming and fascinating. On the edge of the road winding uphill and we can see patches of terraced rice (terracing) and clove trees are fertile growing in this hilly region. On the east will be seen the towering hills that were in Sidemen area and the south will look rice fields located in Klungkung regency and surrounding area as well as in the distance is a scene in the sea off the southern district of Klungkung.
